Pepsi “Refresh Everything” Aids the Gulf

Pepsi is donating $1.3 million through its Pepsi Refresh Project, the crowdsourcing initiative launched with money saved from not sponsoring the Superbowl last year. On refresheverything.com, the public can select grant winners by popular vote. Pepsi already promised to give away $20 million to crowd-selected causes through the promotion, and this Gulf give away is an additional sum.

The company will award 32 “Do Good for the Gulf” grants: two for $250,000 and 10 each for $50,000, $25,000 and $5,000.  So, go vote and send some money where it’s needed.

Say, is anyone suddenly thirsty for a cold, sweet, bubbly beverage?
